Description
Life hasn't been easy for Camille and Michael Geraldi and their over forty adopted children. The children are all handicapped, some with Down Syndrome, others with a variety of developmental disabilities. At the helm of this brood is Camille, part Mother Teresa, part General McArthur. She faces the daily challenges of watching her children undergo life or death surgeries, managing the dedicated but often difficult staff (some of whom arrive with problems of their own), and balancing the ever present pressure of community members whose fears and prejudices make the Geraldis feel less than welcome.
